Sandoz Hybrid PLA-F is a fantastic hybrid blend of PLA and ABS and it's got the best of both worlds. This filament is great for everyday printing and functional parts that require strength.
The spool comes with neat winding. The filament is not brittle at all. It has great bed adhesion, great layer adhesion, low warp if you use a heated bed. The parts you print are strong with a slight flex that prevents them from breaking under load. Heat resistance is higher than PLA.
**There is some ABS smell but it is on the mild side and is strongest when you open the vacuum sealed bag. Barely noticeable when printing.
**Personal Experience from Sandoz: I have used this product quite a lot and have found it exceptionally easy to print with. I usually use my regular PLA profile and adjust the temperatures to somewhere around 230°C to 240°C. Just for fun i have tried printing with this from 205°C all the way up to 245°C and have seen almost no change in quality. Layer lines seem to disappear at higher temperatures. I have had my wife and son both enter the room without telling them what was printing to see if they could notice the odor and neither of them could.
***The white PLAF is one of the best materials I have made lithophanes out of. Layer lines disappear completely and leave a very good quality image with good contrast.
