Sandoz3D Glow in the Dark PLA is an exciting, unique take on glow in the dark filaments.  Bright colored filament in the daylight, glow when the lights are out.  Unfortunately the red pigment in the red glow in the dark absorbs most of the glowing from the red filament.  The price of the red has been reduced because of this.  There will not be a refund for the red glow being dim.

Like most Sandoz3D filaments, our PLA contains 100% virign Luminy lx575 PLA.  Luminy lx575 is a premium PLA resin and among the best materials available, in the world, for producing PLA filament for 3D Printing.

Diameter:1.75 mm ± 0.03 mm
Print Temperature: 180 - 210°C
Hot Bed Temperature: 50-60°C
Print Speed: Depends on your printer
Filament Weight: 1 kg
**We recommend you use a hardened nozzle.  Glow in the dark filament is more abrasive than other filaments and will wear down a brass nozzle.

Please remember that print temperatures and speeds are a guideline and exact settings will be different for every machine.  We recommend that you print a temperature tower and stringing tests to find the best settings for you.

(Watch Teaching Techs video for the easiest way to calibrate your machine and set it up for success with different filaments)

PLA stands for Polylactic Acid. Made from renewable resources such as corn starch or sugar cane, it’s a natural polymer designed to substitute widely used petroleum-based plastics.

-PLA is bio-based and biodegradable.
-PLA is a thermoplastic, meaning that it can be melted and reshaped without       significantly degrading its mechanical properties.
-It is derived from renewable resources
-PLA plastic is recognized as safe by the United States Food and Drug Administration. Additionally, it is safe for all food packaging applications.
